Do I need a prescription already?
No. A licensed clinician reviews your health questionnaire and decides whether a prescription is appropriate. Not everyone qualifies.
What if the clinician decides treatment is not right for me?
Nothing is prescribed or shipped. Your clinician will explain why and suggest what to consider instead, which may include seeing a doctor in person.
Do you take insurance?
No. Plans are paid for directly, so the price you see is the price you pay. Insurance is not billed.
How is medication delivered?
Prescriptions are filled by a licensed pharmacy and shipped to your door in plain packaging, with nothing on the outside that says what is inside. Delivery times depend on your location and your treatment.
Can I talk to my clinician?
Yes. You can message your care team from your account at any time, including about side effects or adjusting your dose.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can pause or cancel from your account, or by contacting support, at any time.
What is a compounded medication?
A medication prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient, rather than mass-produced. Compounded medications are not approved by the FDA, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality. A clinician will only prescribe one when they judge it appropriate for you.
Is my health information private?
Health information you share for your care is protected under HIPAA. Read our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data notice for the detail.
Where is care available?
Care is only offered where a clinician is licensed to treat you. Clinicians must be licensed in the state where you are located when you receive care, and the intake confirms this before a visit begins.
Is this for emergencies?
No. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
